Edit Hierarchical Category

The Edit Hierarchical Category feature allows the editing of the user-defined categories.

Prerequisites

• You have installed Knowledge Builder version 4.3 or later on a computer running Windows.
• You are logged onto the Knowledge Builder Client computer with Administrator privileges.
• You have launched Knowledge Builder Developer, and have the Globals Tab with focus.

Considerations

• You are familiar with interacting with dialog boxes on a computer running Windows.
• You have defined your bookset strategy that considers:
• A bookset name for the bookset you are creating
• The files (books) that will be included in bookset

The following procedure is used to select and define the Edit Hierarchical Category:

1	Click the Edit -> Hierarchical Category. The Edit Hierarchical Category screen appears.
2	Using your keyboard, edit the displayed Category name in the text box. Note: Clicking Cancel will close the dialog box.
3	Click the OK button to complete the procedure. Note: Clicking Refresh tree will fresh the Available categories list box. Clicking Delete will delete the selected category. Use the Up and Down arrow keys to reposition the selected category in the Available categories list box. Go to the next applicable function section in this document.
